We'll transform flat sheets of acrylic into dazzling illuminated projects using precision laser cutting and energy-efficient LED strips. Students will gain experience operating a laser cutter to precisely sculpt acrylic into signs. The course covers selecting flexible LED strips and preparing them to properly fit within laser cut channels. Students will learn to measure, cut, and connect LED strips, then wire them with care. Proper assembly techniques will be taught to combine the laser cut acrylic and LED strips into complete lighted signs and displays.
